Clinic/Chiropractor Assistant
Cochrane Community Chiropractic & Wellness is currently seeking clinic and chiropractor assistants to join our team upon opening our wellness facility in August of 2026.
Position Summary
The Clinic Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the clinic and ensuring an exceptional experience for our community within our space.This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and is responsible for front desk administration, appointment scheduling, client communication, clinic organization, and assisting practitioners with non-clinical tasks. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, professional, and passionate about creating a welcoming and efficient healing environment.
Responsibilities

Greet and assist clients in a warm, professional manner.

Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists on JaneApp.

Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly and professionally.

Process payments, receipts, and direct billing submissions.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of personal health information.

Assist with onboarding new patients and managing intake forms.

Support practitioners with scheduling, treatment room turnover, and clinic flow.

Monitor and replenish clinic supplies, linens, and retail inventory.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception, treatment rooms, and common areas.

Assist with marketing initiatives, social media content, and community events as needed.

Perform general administrative duties to support efficient clinic operations.
Required Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service, reception, administration, or a healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency with computers, email, and common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).

Ability to learn and use clinic management software and direct billing platforms.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient information and payments.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (clinic supplies, laundry, etc.).

Ability to perform light cleaning and organizational duties throughout the clinic.
